How should I deal with negative reviews?

There are multiple ways to deal with negative reviews:

1. Request an Update

If you've sorted out the issue with the customer (provided a refund, etc) you can ask the customer to update their review.

2. Reply

You can reply to the review to show that your company really cares. This lets new customers know that you're willing to help when/if things go wrong.

Replying to reviews greatly reduces the effect of your negative reviews.

3. Approve

It's OK to have some negative reviews! We can't all be perfect. πŸ˜… In-fact, some negative reviews are expected.

Too few negative reviews can make your reviews seem fake!

4. Decline

If you don't believe the review is fair, it was an error or some other major reason you can always decline the review submission so it won't appear on your site.

Keep in mind that declining a review will notify the customer and customers can report abuse if they don't agree. Too many abuse reports can result in suspension of your account.
