A one-time review request allows you to send a mass email/message to your existing customers or contacts and ask for a submission of product reviews or other social proof content that will show within one of your widgets.
πNote: The Requests tab has been replaced with the Messages tab. You can still go there to create new One-time Requests.
Here's how to do it:
Go to Configuration in the left-hand menu.
Click One-time Requests.
Click + New One-time Request.
Name your campaign.

1. What To Request
You can choose the primary goal of your request to be Reviews or Photos & Videos.
If you want reviews, leave the default option enabled. Customers can also submit photos/videos as part of their review.
If you don't want reviews and only want photos and/or videos submitted as part of this request, choose the 'Photos & Videos' option.
2. Incentives
You can attach 2 types of incentives for customers that submit content through this review request:
Existing Incentives
- Discount on Future Orders
For all platforms, you can offer discounts/coupons in exchange for their submission. This discount can be used on future orders.

βπ Note: Discounts are ONLY auto-generated for Shopify users. For other platforms, these discount settings aren't generated automatically and are used for display purposes.
- Loyalty Points (with Smile.io)
If you're running a loyalty points program with Smile.io, then you can offer loyalty points in exchange for their submission.
π Note: You have to download Smile.io for this functionality to work.
- Cash-back (Shopify Only)
If you're running a Shopify store, you can offer cash-back to certain customers in exchange for their submission.
Custom Incentives

π Note: Custom incentives only apply to a specific review request email. So, if a customer doesn't submit a review through the email link, they won't receive the discount.
3. Message Customization
In this section, you will see a simple editor that will allow you to change the customer's messages.
4. Who to Send To
In this section, you can decide who you want to send the one-time review request to.
Sending to Past Orders
You can send your request to past orders (recommended). To do this
1. Click the 'Recent Orders' tab
2. Choose which orders you want to send the request to
Sending to Custom Contacts
If you don't have some people in your store as orders, you can manually enter contacts that you know purchased your products.
This is useful for family and friend purchasers, especially as you are starting your business.
Sending to Imported Contacts (from CSV)
You can upload a CSV (excel file) of contacts that you want to send this one-time review request to.
To do this, click the 'Imported Contacts' tab and follow the on-screen instructions.
Launching
Choose to Test, Launch, or Save a draft of your campaign.
Once you're ready to launch your automatic review request, hit the 'Launch' button.
π‘ Tip: Use the 'Test' button to test sending the review request message before you launch it, so you know everything looks perfect.
After the review request is launched then Fera will immediately start sending messages to customers.
To send to future customers automatically after each order, create an Automatic Review Request instead.
