Ask Customers For Photo & Video Reviews

How to get photo and video reviews from your customers.

There are three ways to ask your customers for a reviews

1. Automatically request photos and videos from new customers

To automatically request photos and videos from new customers, you need to set up an automatic review request campaign.

Here's how you'd set up a campaign to automatically ask customers for photos and videos after their orders:

1. Go to Requests in the left-hand menu.

2. Click Automatic.

3. Click + New Auto Request Campaign.

4. Name your campaign.

5. Select Photos & Videos.

6. Complete the other sections

  • Incentives

  • When To Send

  • Message Customization

7. Choose to Test, Launch, or Save a draft of your campaign.

2. Ask past customers

You can ask past customers for photos and videos without asking for reviews by creating a one-time review request campaign and setting your primary goals as "photos & videos."

πŸ“ Note: If you already asked for reviews with a one-time campaign and did not disable photo and video submissions, then you don't need to do this.

Here's how to do it:

1. Go to Requests in the left-hand menu.

2. Click One-time.

3. Click + New One-time Request.

4. Name your campaign.

5. Select Photos & Videos.

6. Complete the other sections

  • Incentives

  • When To Send

  • Message Customization

7. Choose to Test, Launch, or Save a draft of your campaign.

3. Through user-submitted reviews

When someone submits a review (like on your website), they have the option to attach photos and videos of their purchase.

These will automatically populate your photos and videos section.

πŸ“ Note: When customers submit photos or videos along with their reviews, Fera will automatically populate your customer photos and videos section and link to the original review.

4. Share your photo/video request deep link

You can request photos and videos from anyone using your review request deep link.

You can send this URL to anyone over any medium to request a review, photos, and/or videos.

Simply add the following to the end of your product URL.

?fera=showContentSubmit

πŸ“ Note: You have to add the URL to the main product URL first. The variant will show up after.

5. Quick Link

If you want to send links to your customers so they can leave reviews on specific products, follow these steps.

You can choose to access your quick review link from your

  • Main dashboard or

  • From the menu

From your main dashboard

1. In your dashboard, find the 'Quick Review Link' option under your stats.

2. Choose from the store icon (shop with star) for store reviews, or the product icon (t-shirt with star) for product reviews.

3. Copy the link and send it to your customers!

How to find the Quick Review Link on your dashboard

From the Menu

1. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Content > Reviews.

2. Navigate to the green + Add Review button at the top right of the screen.

3. Select the Ask Customers block.

4. Click Write Review Link

5. Choose if you want to send a store review or a specific product review.

  • You can search for specific products by using the search bar

  • Click 'Choose' to select the product

6. Copy link.

7. Send to customers!

How to find the Quick Review Link from your menu

QR Code

You can also print out a QR code to use to collect reviews when interacting with your customers in the real world.

You can print off your QR code and use it

  • In your retail stores

  • As an insert in the packaging

  • At pop-up events

Customizing Links

You can also customize links with unique parameters like

  • Name

  • email

  • Product

  • Title

For example, you can ask for a review using the following link https://fera.review/storename?name=Joe&[email protected]&title="What Did You Think?"

Use the Parameters

  • name=

  • email=

  • product=

  • title=

With the '&' in between each parameter AND add double quotes " " at the beginning and end of the title text that you want to appear.

It will show up like this for your customer

In your dashboard, you will see this:
