Can Customers Delay Review Requests?

Customers can delay a review request if they’re not ready to review yet.

Written by Ivona Nastova

If a customer isn’t ready to leave a review yet, they can delay the review request from the footer of the email. Fera then sends the request again one week later. You don’t need to take any action.

How it works?

  1. A customer receives a review request email.

  2. If they aren’t ready to review, they choose the option to delay the request in the email footer.

  3. Fera sends the review request again one week later.

The customer doesn’t have to ignore the email or opt out. They can simply ask for a reminder at a better time.

Why this is useful

Sometimes a customer gets a review request before they’ve had enough time with the product. Delaying gives them more flexibility, so they can leave a review when they’re ready. That often means a more thoughtful review, and it’s better than the request being ignored.

Good to know

  • Customers can delay or postpone a review request from the footer of the review request email.

  • The request is sent again one week later.

  • Merchants don’t need to do anything. There’s nothing to enable or configure.
