In this guide, we will explain how you can send review requests to your customers directly through text messages.
Important : The SMS Review Request feature is currently available only for Shopify stores located in the USA and Canada. Sign up to our waiting list here to be the first to find out when SMS is available in your country and/or marketplace.
Important: To use SMS review requests, your store must collect customer phone numbers at checkout. This information is necessary for Fera to sync phone number to your account and send SMS review requests.

Follow these quick steps to enable SMS review request:
Step 1: Go to Configuration
From your Fera dashboard, click Configuration and under Review Requests, select either Automatic Requests or One-Time Requests.
If you’ve selected Automatic Requests, you can either edit your existing campaign or create a new one.
Step 2: Enable SMS Review Requests
In your campaign settings, go to Message Customization. Then, click on the 3rd Request (SMS Beta). To proceed click Activate SMS Requests.
Step 3: Continue Setup
Click Continue to proceed with enabling SMS. Here, you’ll see the pricing, which is $5 per review. You only pay when customers take action and actually leave a review.
Step 4: Set a Monthly Usage Limit
Enter a monthly spending limit to keep your costs under control. This ensures you won’t go over your set budget.
Note: You can adjust the monthly usage limit in your billing settings.
Step 5: SMS Review Requests Activated
Here you can view a complete summary of your SMS settings, including your monthly limit, pricing and estimated reviews.
Step 6: Complete Billing Setup
Once you activate, Fera will redirect you to Shopify.
Click the Approve button on the right hand side.
Note that you will only be charged on reviews that were submitted through SMS and must be approved in order for SMS review requests to be sent from Fera.
After completing these steps, your SMS Review Requests will be active. Customers now will automatically receive SMS based on your campaign settings.
